7 days - 6 nights

Activities included in your stay
Hiking in Lapland
Swedish Lapland is the perfect place for hiking enthusiasts. Arjeplog and its surrounding municipality offer a wide choice of trails for both occasional and experienced walkers. From a hike around the town center to several treks outside the village through boreal forests and small mountains. Great excursions to discover with family or friends in the wilderness and observe this immense landscape while enjoying the calm that surrounds us. So, grab your backpacks and pegs, and don't forget the most important thing of all: your smile and your good mood .
Fishing
The municipality of Arjeplog is the perfect playground, indeed a paradise, for any fishing enthusiast. With over 8,000 lakes, it offers a wide choice of places to cast your line from the shore, or from your boat, and hope to get out your lunch or evening meal. You'll need to choose your lure carefully if you want to catch perch, pike, grayling and trout on the end of your hook, and make those around you envious.
Visit the Arctic Circle on the Swedish and Norwegian sides
Take Route 95 to the Arctic Circle, then into Norway, to the ancient border symbolized today by a stone signed by the kings of both countries. On the Norwegian side, contemplate the rolling, green landscape with its fir forests and waterfalls plunging into the valley. Lunch in a Norwegian inn.
On the way back, photo stop at the Arctic Circle sign and, if you wish, a certificate and (symbolic) stamp on your passport issued in the Arctic Circle store.
Visit to the Silver museum
Visit to a Saami farm
Discover Saami culture and traditions through Lotta and Tom. The Saami couple will guide you and tell you about their nomadic people, their ancestral customs and heritage, and show you some of the dwellings that have remained intact. You'll be able to observe and get up close to some of the reindeer in their herd, and understand how these animals behave. A fika will be prepared around a barbecue, and if you wish, you can ask them questions about this people known as "Saami".
Canoeing in Swedish Lapland
With its countless lakes, including over 8,500 in the municipality of Arjeplog, canoe outings are practical and frequent. It's a great way to take a stroll on the Sveggejaur and Kakel lakes with your family or friends, contemplate the panorama of Mount Galtispuoda and silently observe the flora and fauna along the way.
Swimming in crystal-clear waters
Swim in the clear lakes, then relax, play or read on the fine sand.
Contemplating the midnight sun
An extraordinary phenomenon where for once the sun has decided not to set for a few weeks. This can be disturbing for those who worry about their sleep. But this constant luminosity will also give you the energy to take full advantage of your activities, such as hiking, lake fishing or canoeing after midnight.
