With its countless lakes and impressive rivers teeming with fish like trout, grayling, Arctic char, perch, pike, a real paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Cast your line from the shore or from our boat on the various lakes and rivers that border Arjeplog and its commune. Choose the right "bait" to reel in your "trophy" for the day.
So it's up to you!
Visit the Arctic Circle on the Swedish and Norwegian sides
Drive to the Arctic Circle and continue to the ancient border between Sweden and Norway, symbolized by a stone signed by the two kings of each country. Then, finally, cross over to the Norwegian side and admire the fir forests and waterfalls that plunge into the valley, have lunch in a Norwegian inn and take a break for souvenirs or photos before heading back to Sweden towards Arjeplog.
Visit to the Silver museum
After all these days of activities, a bit of history is in order! Discover the life of the Swedes and Lapps of yesteryear through the objects, clothing and silver collections for which the museum is famous. You can also observe the fauna that can be found throughout the Arjeplog municipality. If you wish, you can watch a film in French, summarizing the history of the village from the past to the present day.
Autumn walks
Whether you're a hiker or an outdoor enthusiast, you'll be able to admire and photograph this particularly spectacular panorama, with the different colors that ignite the trees in autumn. Let yourself be charmed by the boreal forests that illuminate these wild landscapes as far as the eye can see.
